SEE LIGHT Social Economy and Entrepreneurship for the Labour Integration of Groups Hit by Troubles

The project SEE LIGHT Social Economy and Entrepreneurship for the Labour Integration of Groups Hit by Troubles was focused on finding and applying the best practices of social business and entrepreneurship as a tool for social inclusion of marginalized groups (people who are facing different difficulties) and their labour integration. The aim of the partnership was to improve the capacities and competencies of those who work with disadvantaged people as well as improving their skills related to social entrepreneurship. This improvement made the integration process of disadvantaged people more effective. Project partners over the period of the project visited many different services and shared their experience related to work insertion strategies and methodologies for disadvantaged groups (long-term unemployed, homeless, immigrants and refugees, disabled people, Roma people, old workers, former detainees or drug addicts, etc.). They also increase competences and skills related to social business and social entrepreneurship and it's applicability in work with disadvantaged groups. The project, involved partners from 6 different countries (7 different organizations) with different experiences in the field of social economy: • Charita Opava(CZ) • Charita Sv. Alexandra (CZ) • Caritas Ambrosiana (IT) • Aktivitetscentre Sundholm (DK) • Charity Foundation VA Caritas Social Projects (LT) • Artemisa Network (SP) • St Mungo’s Broadway (UK) During the visits participants also received training about social economy legislation, best practices, development strategies and innovative methodologies. So their knowledge about social business and entrepreneurship was significantly increased. During the project the website, facebook page and booklet for good practices were developed.
