    Water for Life

The project “Water for Life" deals with a topic referring to all of us. It is planned to be carried out with schools from seven different countries, pupils of all age groups of the participating schools are supposed to be included. We would like to examine the topic from several points of views having been worked out with the pupils in many different subjects. The findings and results are supposed to be used to make the pupils aware of the outstanding importance of water for our lives and to learn for their future. By looking back into the past and at our present we would like to create an idea of our future. The main emphasis will be put on the following subjects and fields of interest: history, literature, geography, natural sciences, economy and arts. They are seen as the basis of the parts of the project. The organization of the activities at the different schools is important to get a global view at the topic. The following aspects have to be taken into consideration: - What is the situation like in other countries? - How important is the topic there? - How do the countries deal with the topic? - What can our pupils do to maintain a sustainable future? The answers to these questions are expected to lead to clear ideas, to working on the topic in a more detailed way and to more awareness in actions. The competences by an international cooperation should help to give a European perspective. Dealing with the topic in different fields inspires both, pupils and teachers, to reach new aims and new strategies in order to develop mutual perspectives for our future in Europe.
