Being a cool hunter: a new role

This meeting during the preparatory visit has given us the chance to meet each other, know about our competencies and skills through planning and organizing acitivities, distributing tasks and exchanging opinions and ideas on the topic "Entrepreneurship and young people - being a cool hunter- a new role". We agreed on activities and visits to develop after receiving grant from NA. We agree it is important to have good competencies to face the society nowadays and the research of future jobs, so our task would be to help, support and improve our students' skills and let them invest their professionality. Students could act just as "Cool hunters" so they should observe, study the tendencies and reflect upon preferences and try to find out tastes and trends in the hard economy and business world. We should improve our students' sense of entrepreneurship. This concern refers to a person's skill to translate ideas into action. This includes creativity, innovation and risk-taking, as well as the ability to plan projects in order to achieve objectives. Students will meet and work together in making market researches in a simulation context. In this way they could increase their creativity, learn a foreign language and manage business tools, exchanging ideas on methods and strategies in a friendly atmosphere. They will visit local firms and business authorities. There was a discussion with the Chamber of Commerce in Agrigento, and the president gave his support to the project. The project should start in September 2012 and the first step would be creating a web site through which they could be able to communicate, mutuate ideas and opinions. They will exchange the good practices of their own country and share them with the other European partners.
