The project named “Social enterprises & green economy: new models of European development” aims at encouraging and developing transnational cooperation in the field of green economy, by promoting mobility/study visits on common interest topics for vocational training specialists and social enterprises/cooperatives. The project aims at further developing some of the results achieved in a previous Leonardo TOI project (“The Recycling Cycle” - LLP-LDV/TOI/08/IT/541), building on the topics dealt with therein, namely the implementation of effective training and networking processes to support and favour social inclusion of disadvantaged people through new entrepreneurial models of environmental sustainability in the sector of waste prevention, management, recycling, reuse, and valorisation. The purpose is to compare, exchange and study the most innovative experiences that are being developed in this sector in European countries, by means of transnational mobilities and learning assessment. The aim is therefore to promote a partnership capable of testing innovative solutions, strengthening thus new transnational relationships, with the support of local and transnational stakeholders. The project is presented by a partnership of organizations and enterprises working in the field of vocational training and social economy in ITALY (coordinator), FINLAND, SLOVENIA and BELGIUM, and aims at sharing and developing the best multilateral conditions for mutual exchange of good practices “on the field”. The exchange of skills and know how intends to promote in social enterprises the most effective conditions for integration and stability in the labour market of socially disadvantaged people (e.g. disability, addiction, psychological distress, ex-offenders).
