The partnership brings together players (IT, CZ, DK, FR, UK) specialized in facilitating the access to digital skills for older workers at risk of losing employment, to allow them to remain active in society and at work, avoiding situations of marginalization and unemployment. For this reason they will act on the computer illiteracy that plagues most workers over 50 who need to acquire new skills in order to have a reposition in the labour market, caused by the crises of the companies and by the conversions to other sectors that require new profiles and career paths. The project aims to enhance and maximize the employment potential existing in the labour market, acting on the services provided to public bodies to enable older workers to access paths e.learning, keeping lower the digital divide and facilitating their stay on labour market. The project intends to build a network of exchanges for training professionals/tutors/operators (24x5=120 total number of mobilities) through meetings and discussion, workshops and individual mobilities focused on specific topics to provide an effective access to IT and DL paths for older workers. In detail, they will address the learning methods to redirect people over 50 towards learning by means of exercise of the memory, the development of attention, concentration, synthesis and reporting, thanks also to multimedia tools, methods of planning training courses for computer basic science and distance learning by open systems (e.g. the constructivist approach) and techniques to facilitate interaction, opportunities for professional training in distance learning and/or training. The aim is to build an approach and a method for ensuring access to IT and DL for older workers, to be integrated in the employment strategies of the partners.
