    Accessibility Standards for Contemporary Art

    Accessibility of Culture and Contemporary Art is the core theme of the present partnership as well as the innovation of educational and training contents in such a field of study through the creation of a new professional profile under the EQF certification system and the ECVET credit transfer system. The projects activities and its results will, in fact, be used to plan and update the present training programmes and to create the opportunuty to develop new Jobs. "New Skills for New Jobs". Such goals will be achieved through the following activities to be carried out during transnational mobilities and relevant visits and workshops: Definition of the necessary skills that a professional in the field of cultural and artistic events shall possess, paying particular attention to inclusive and respectful communication tools and strategies as well as ergonomic aspects of the locations where such events take place. Workshops will be organised during each international mobilities with the attendance of artists, training course designers and planners, professionals in the field of cultural and artistic events, tourist guides and trainers with the aim of definining the general guidelines for a proper cultural tourism which shall be inclusive and suitable not by experts only but by common people especially. During the mobilities several Museums, temporary exhibitions and other cultural events will be planned in order to compare them and evaluate under the point of view of intellectual and cultural accessibility. The results of such activity could be used to design the EQF skills, abilities and competences that a professional in the field of cultural events shall have that also shall be spread on ECVET learning units and points..

  • GUIDELINES

    The present result summarises the outcomes of the ASCA partnership in terms of identification of the EQF based and necessary skills in the field arts and culture. The Guidelines will help VET providers for the planning and designing new training programmes as well as the competent authorities in developing and identifying a possible new professional profile. The skills have been identified in such a manner to make it possible the grouping into ECVET Units of Learning Outcomes.
