An InterACTIVE LANGUAGE Adventure Across Europe
The aim of this partnership is for the learners, with the help of their teachers, to look for or produce original materials in English about their countries and, using these materials, design web tasks with activities to show distinctive features about their country. Throughout the process,we will be sharing good practice on how to produce a web task and use it effectively in the language class through social networking or other technologies. The web tasks will be uploaded to the project site so that the learners in the partner countries can do them as part of their learning process. The web tasks will help them practise the four communicative skills: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing and speaking. When the learners in one country finish doing the web tasks prepared by the learners in another country, we will organise a video conference using the tool Skype so they can meet and discuss what they liked most about the web tasks; which aspects of the other country they found most interesting or surprising, etc. These sessions will be very important for the learners to get to know each other and their cultures, to really find out how similar or different we are, to better understand one another and to be better qualified to live and work in a multicultural society Since several web tasks are expected to be produced in each country, there will be a process of selecting the best one; and this task will be carried out by the learners: all the learners will vote for their favourite web task in each country and the authors of the winning web tasks will win a mobility. The mobilities will contribute to English language acquisition through different activities:a treasure hunt in the city of the language school, visits to discover the host country, etc.
Interaktiivne keeleseiklus läbi Euroopa
Selle koostööprojekti eesmärgiks oli, et õppijad otsiksid või looksid oma õpetajate abil ingliskeelseid materjale oma riikide kohta ning koostaksid nende materjalide abil veebipõhised ülesanded, tutvustamaks oma riigile iseloomulikke külgi. Kogu protsessi jooksul oleme jaganud häid praktikaid veebiülesannete koostamise ja nende keeleõppes kasutamise vallas. Tegime seda suhtlusvõrgustike ja muude tehnoloogiate abil. Projektis osalenud õppijad koostasid kokku 31 veebipõhist ülesannet, mis laeti üles projekti kodulehele, et teiste partnerriikide õppijad saaksid neid oma keeleõppe käigus lahendada. Veebiülesannete koostamisel oli eesmärgiks, et need aitaksid õppijail praktiseerida nelja osaoskust: lugemis-, kuulamis-, kirjutamis- ja kõneoskust. Lisamotivatsiooni pidi lisama teadmine, et nende ülesannete autoriteks olid teised inglise keele õppijad. Õppijad ise hindasid koostatud veebiülesandeid. Iga riigi õppijad andsid punkte teiste partnerriikide ülesannetele. Parimateks tunnistatud ülesannete autorid said võimaluse osaleda mobiilsusel mõnda partnerriiki. Mobiilsused aitasid kaasa inglise keele omandamisele erinevate tegevuste kaudu. Nende hulgas oli põnevaimaks „aardejaht“ – orienteerumismäng, mis viidi läbi iga osalenud keeltekooli asukohalinnas või lähedalasuvas linnas. „Aardejahi“ valmistasid ette võõrustava riigi õppijad ja õpetajad ning selle abil tutvustati eri riikide õppijatest koosnevatele segavõistkondadele lõbusal ja nauditaval viisil võõrustajate kodukanti, selle ajalugu ja traditsioone. Pärast iga väliskülastust pidid osalenud õppijad panema projekti kodulehele üles oma lemmikfoto reisist koos lühikese tekstiga, mis selgitas, miks see konkreetne pilt neile nii väga meeldib. See kodulehe rubriik kannab nime „Memories of ...“ („Mälestused ...“) ja sealt võib näha, et selle koostööprojekti suurimaks saavutuseks on väljakujunenud tugevad sidemed, tõelised sõprussuhted osalenute vahel, mis jäävad loodetavasti püsima veel kauaks pärast projekti lõppemist.
An InterACTIVE LANGUAGE Adventure Across Europe
Oppimiskumppanuuden aikana opiskelijat opettajien avustamina hakevat ja tuottavat englanninkielistä esittelyaineistoa kotimaastaan ja suunnittelevat näihin aineistoihin perustuvia nettitehtäviä. Tavoitteena on esitellä kunkin maan erityispiirteitä. Koko prosessin ajan jaetaan hyviä käytäntöjä nettitehtävien tekemisestä ja niiden käyttämisestä kieltenopetuksessa. Tässä käytetään sosiaalista mediaa ja muuta teknologiaa. Tehtävät ladataan hankkeen kotisivulle kumppanimaiden opiskelijoiden käytettäväksi kielen oppimisessa. Niiden tavoitteena on kehittää neljää kielitaidon osa-aluetta: tekstinymmärtäminen, kuullunymmärtäminen, kirjoittaminen ja puhuminen. Kun tehtävät ovat valmiita, järjestämme videokonferenssin Skypen välityksellä, jotta opieskelijat voivat tavata ja keskustella tehtävistä: mistä he pitivät enite, mitkä kustakin maasta esitetyt piirteet olivat kiinnostavimpia, mikä oli yllättävää jne. Nämä keskustelut ovat tärkeitä opiskelijoiden tutustumisessa toisiinsa ja eri maiden kulttuuriin, jotta ymmärtäisimme paremmin toisiamme ja oppisimme elämään ja toimimaan monikulttuurisessa ympäristössä. Koska kussakin maassa tuotetaan useita nettitehtäviä, opiskelijat äänestävät parhaat tehtävät kustakin maasta ja parhaiten sijoittuneiden tehtävien tekijät voittavat liikkuvuuden. Matkat edistävät englannin kielen omaksumista monipuolisen ohjelman ansiosta, mm. aarteenetsintätehtävät kohdekaupungissa ja vierailut erilaisissa kohteissa.
Une aventure langagière interactive à travers l'Europe
Ce partenariat avait pour but d’amener les apprenants, aidés de leurs professeurs, à chercher ou créer des supports originaux sur leur pays en anglais et de s’en inspirer pour concevoir des tâches web incorporant des activités en vue de présenter les particularités de leurs pays respectifs. Tout au long de ce processus, nous avons partagé nos expériences de bonne pratique sur la manière de concevoir une tâche web et de l’utiliser dans la classe de langue grâce aux réseaux sociaux et autres technologies. Les étudiants ont conçu 31 tâches web et celles-ci ont été téléchargées sur le site du projet afin que les apprenants des pays partenaires puissent les utiliser dans leur apprentissage. Ces tâches les ont aidé à pratiquer la communication au travers des quatre compétences : la compréhension écrite, la compréhension orale, la production écrite et la production orale. Un classement des tâches web a été établi par les apprenants : dans chaque pays, les apprenants attribuaient des points aux tâches web en provenance des autres pays. Les auteurs des tâches gagnantes pouvaient ainsi gagner une mobilité lorsqu’il était possible pour plus d’un candidat d’effectuer le voyage. Les mobilités ont contribué à l’acquisition de la langue anglaise via différentes activités, dont le point culminant et commun à toutes les visites était une chasse au trésor dans la ville de l’école hôte, préparée par les étudiants et les professeurs du pays hôte, afin de montrer aux visiteurs leur ville, son histoire et ses traditions de manière amusante et ludique. Après chaque visite, les élèves participants devaient agrémenter le site du projet de leur photo favorite accompagnée d’une petite note justifiant leur choix. Un coup d’œil à cette section du site, intitulée « Souvenirs de … », suffit pour constater que les liens étroits tissés entre les participants constituent la plus belle réussite de ce partenariat, de réelles amitiés qui, nous l’espérons, perdureront au-delà du projet.
Europska interaktivna jezična avantura
Cilj ovog partnerstva je da odrasli učenici polaznici programa engleskog jezika (u nastavku polaznici), uz pomoć svojih nastavnika, traže ili proizvode izvorne materijale na engleskom jeziku o svom gradu, regiji, zemlji i kulturi te pomoću tih materijala, dizajniraju web zadatke s aktivnostima koji prikazuju posebnosti o njihovoj zemlji. Tijekom tog procesa, dijelit ćemo primjer dobre prakse o tome kako proizvesti web zadatak i učinkovito ga iskoristiti u nastavi putem društvenih mreža ili drugih tehnologija. Web zadaci će biti dostupni na stranicama projekta, tako da ih polaznici u partnerskim zemljama mogu koristiti kao dio svog procesa učenja. Web zadaci će im pomoći da unaprijede četiri komunikacijske vještine: čitanje s razumijevanjem, slušanje s razumijevanjem, pisanje i govor. Kad polaznici u jednoj zemlji završe ispunjavanje web zadataka pripremljenih od strane polaznika drugih zemalja, organizirat ćemo video konferenciju koristeći Skype, kako bi se sudionici susreli i razgovarali o tome što im se najviše sviđa kod web zadataka; koje aspekte druge zemlje smatraju najzanimljivijima ili najneobičnijim. Ovi sastanci će biti vrlo važni za polaznike i sudionike projekta kako bi upoznali jedni druge i njihove kulture, kako bi stvarno saznali koliko smo slični ili različiti, kako bi bolje razumjeli jedni druge i kako bi se bili spremniji živjeti i raditi u multikulturalnom društvu. Budući da se očekuje više web zadataka iz svake zemlje, organizirat će se odabir najboljeg zadatka te će svi polaznici iz svih zemalja partnera glasati za svoje omiljene zadatake te će autori nagrađenih web zadataka osvojiti mobilnost. Aktivnosti tijekom mobilnosti doprinijet će usvajanju engleskog jezika: potraga za blagom u gradu domaćinu, posjeti kako bi otkrili zemlju domaćina, itd.
Interaktīvs valodas piedzīvojums pa Eiropu
Partnerības mērķis bija izglītojamajiem ar skolotāju palīdzību sameklēt/radīt materiālus angļu valodā par savu valsti un, izmantojot šos materiālus, izveidot tiešsaistes uzdevumus,kas raksturotu savas valsts nozīmīgas iezīmes. Projekta gaitā dalījāmies pieredzē kā veidot tiešsaistes uzdevumus, kā tos efektīvi lietot nodarbībās, izmantojot sociālos tīklus un citas tehnoloģijas. Izglītojamie, kuriem palīdzēja skolotāji, izveidoja 31 tiešsaistes uzdevumu, kas ir augšupielādēti projekta mājas lapā, izglītojamie no partnervalstīm tos izpildīja, kā daļu no mācību programmas. Šie uzdevumi tika veidoti ar mērķi, lai izglītojamie varētu pilnveidot visas četras angļu valodas prasmes, kā arī paaugstinātu valodas apguves motivāciju, jo visi uzdevumu veidotāji bija pieaugušie izglītojamie. Tad viņi veica uzdevumu vērtēšanu anketās, piešķīra punktus citu valstu uzdevumiem, uzvarētāji ar visvairāk punktiem ieguva tiesības doties mobilitātē tajos gadījumos, ja bija vairāk kā viens kandidāts uz katru mobilitāti. Mobilitāšu laikā piedaloties dažādās aktivitātēs, kur galvenā bija spēle "Dārgumu meklēšana" pa partnerorganizācijas pilsētu, tika ļoti uzlabotas angļu valodas zināšanas. Spēli sagatavoja izglītojamie kopā ar skolotājiem, darbiniekiem, lai parādītu savu pilsētu, tās vēsturi un tradīcijas mobilitāšu dalībniekiem jautrā un interesantā veidā. Pēc katras mobilitātes izglītojamajiem bija jāiesniedz fotogrāfija no brauciena ar īsu aprakstu par to, kāpēc šis uzņēmums bija tik īpašs, tad skolotājs kopā ar izglītojamo augšupielādēja to projekta mājas lapā sadaļā "Atmiņas par ..."un te mēs varam redzēt, ka šīs partnerības vislielākais sasniegums ir ciešās saites, kas izveidojās starp projekta dalībniekiem. IKT palīdzēja veidot veiksmīgu partnerību, pat atrodoties lielā attālumā vienam no otra. Mēs visi strādājam organizācijās, kas māca angļu valodu pieaugušajiem. Mūsu projekts ir palīdzējis cilvēkiem no dažādām vecuma un sociālajām grupām, dodot visiem iespējas konkurēt darba ti

Facebook group for teachers and learners participating in the project. There's 70 of us in it and it is very active, every day you can read conversations going on among the participants, exchanging photos, anecdotes, recipes etc. It is a closed group so you have to be a member in order to read the conversations or participate. Grupo de Facebook para profesores y aprendices que participan en el proyecto. Somos 70 miembros y es un grupo muy activo. Todos los días se pueden leer conversaciones que tienen lugar entre los participantes intercambiando fotos, anécdotas, recetas, etc. Es un grupo cerrado por lo que hace falta ser miembro para leer las conversaciones o participar. Suljettu Facebook-ryhmä hankkeessa mukana oleville opettajille ja opiskelijoille. Ryhmässä on 70 jäsentä ja sen on ollut hyvin aktiivinen, keskusteluja on ollut lähes päivittäoin, osanottajat ovat jakaneet kuvia, kertomuksia, reseptejä jne. Ryhmä on suljettu, joten lukeakseen keskusteluja tai osallistuakseen täytyy olla ryhmän jäsen. Ir jābūt tās biedram, lai lasītu sarunas vai komunicētu. See on projektis osalevate õpetajate ja õppijate jaoks mõeldud Facebooki grupp. Liikmeid on 70 ning grupp on väga aktiivne - iga päev võib lugeda osalejate vahel toimuvaid vestlusi, üksteisega jagatakse fotosid, anekdoote, retsepte jne. Kuna tegemist on suletud grupiga, tuleb olla selle liige, et vestlusi lugeda või ise osaleda. Projektis osalejad kohtusidki esmakordselt selles grupis ning hakkasid regulaarselt vestlema, nii et viimaks näost näkku kohtumisel nad juba tundsid üksteist.LANGUAGE(S)

The Estonian learners, with the help of their teachers, created 4 web tasks, which were published on the project's website. The tasks included information material about Estonia in English and web tasks based on this information. The students worked on the tasks individually. During the process, they studied English in classes and developed their language and ICT skills in the process of creating the tasks. "Treasure Hunt" in the Old Town of Tallinn, Estonia
Our organisation created a "Treasure Hunt" in the Old Town of Tallinn for the participants of the mobility to Estonia. It consisted of a map and a package of questions and photos. The visitors were divided into teams consisting of different nationalities, so that it was necessary to speak English. The learning partnership was introduced at the spring exhibition of Huittisten seudun kansalaisopisto in April 2013. Posters of the mobilities completed before the exhibition were made by the students and their teacher, and a PowerPoint presentation was created for the event. In addition there were leaflets, books and some snacks of the participating countries. The learners worked in teams or individually. During the process they studied English in classes, developed their language and ICT skills in the process of creating the tasks. Projektā iesaistītie izglītojamie no Latvijas izveidoja 7 tiešsaistes uzdevumus, kas ir publicēti projekta mājas lapā. Uzdevumi sniedz informatīvu materiālu par Latviju angļu valodā. Izglītojamie strādāja komandās vai individuāli. Darba gaitā viņi mācījās angļu valodu nodarbībās, attīstot savas valodas zināšanas un IKT prasmes uzdevumu veidošanas procesā.
