    European Puzzle

Our project involves making a European Puzzle in order to demonstrate all common, similar and different heritages of all partners. Through the working process we want to broaden our horizons, develop competences, promote mutual understanding, and improve knowledge about different countries. Step by step in the process of making the European Puzzle we will learn how to retain our individuality, respect differences, and encourage tolerant attitudes towards other nations’ heritage. Bringing this European dimension to our schools, we will help pupils acquire the life-skills and competences necessary for their personal development, for future employment and for active European citizenship. During the project pupils and staff will be involved in a wide range of activities. These activities will be integrated in every partner’ school subjects and extra-curriculum lessons in order to make the learning/ teaching process interesting, creative and innovative and enhance school management. Partnership schools are from rural, disadvantaged areas with similar social and economic situation and common problems. There will be involved 790 pupils and 100 staff. During the project there will be 9 project mobilities, including two folk and dancing festivals. We will make puppets in national costumes, CDs, photo albums and we will collect traditional plays and games.
