School Wire Broadcasting Centre
The title of the project is "School Wire Broadcasting Centre". One of our aims was using theoretical knowledge in practice and creating broadcasting centres in all our partner schools. Our students used their electronic and IT knowledge to organise those broadcasting centres. They worked in small groups: the first group prepared a list of needed electronic accessories and created a plan of making a school wire broadcasting centre. When doing these plans we cooperated with both local radios and professionals concerning sound systems. Each school adjusted plans to its needs. The second group of students was responsible for writing a computer application useful in broadcasting centres. The third group chose the proper equipment and joined it with the loudspeakers outside, then they started transmission. Three school partners’ meetings took place during the project: in Kielce, Poland (17 – 21 November 2008), in Haskovo, Bulgaria (16 – 20 November 2009) and in Brasov, Romania (7 – 12 March 2010). During all those meetings we had a possibility to visit local radio stations and to watch journalists and technical staff at work, we visited newsrooms, recording studios, control rooms and concert studios. In an electroacoustic distribution board room we could learn how a radio signal was transmitted. There were also arranged professional workshops with radio specialists: journalists and technical staff. Thanks to all those meetings we could also increase our knowledge about partner countries, we exchanged our experience in the terms of our work and improving our communication skills in English. In the schedule of the project we also included designing a web page of the project, designing a logo, organising a jingiel contest, preparing and broadcasting programmes according to the established timetable. All partner schools managed to create professional broadcasting centres thanks to involvement and close cooperation between one another.
Budowanie sieci radiowęzłowej w szkole
"Budowanie sieci radiowęzłowej w szkole" to tytuł projektu. Jednym z jego głównych celów było umożliwienie uczniom zastosowania teorii w praktyce: uczniowie wykorzystali swoją wiedzę z zakresu elektroniki i informatyki, aby utworzyć sieć radiowęzłową w szkole. Pracując w małych grupach przygotowali spis urządzeń elektronicznych niezbędnych do wykonania sieci radiowęzłowej i opracowali projekt wykonania takiej sieci. Przy przygotowywaniu projektu współpracowaliśmy z lokalnymi rozgłośniami radiowymi, a także z profesjonalnymi firmami zajmującymi się instalacją sprzętu audiowizualnego. Każda szkoła dostosowała plan instalacji sieci elektronicznej do swoich potrzeb. Druga grupa uczniów zajęła się przygotowaniem oprogramowania komputerowego przydatnego w radiowęźle. Połączenie wysiłków obu tych grup, podłączenie odpowiedniego sprzętu do głośników i wyemitowanie programów było zadaniem dla kolejnej grupy uczniów. W trakcie realizacji projektu odbyły się 3 spotkania przedstawicieli szkół partnerskich: w Kielcach (17-21.11.2008), w Chaskowie, w Bułgarii (16-20.11.2009), oraz w Braszowie, w Rumunii (7-12.03.2010). W trakcie tych wizyt m. in. mieliśmy okazję obserwować pracę dziennikarzy radiowych i obsługi technicznej w lokalnych rozgłośniach, zwiedziliśmy studia emisyjne i nagraniowe, w rozdzielni elektroakustycznej zapoznaliśmy się z zasadami przesyłania sygnału radiowego. W trakcie jednego ze spotkań braliśmy także udział w warsztatach prowadzonych przez dziennikarzy i realizatorów dźwięku. Wizyty przedstawicieli szkół partnerskich służyły także pogłębieniu wiedzy o krajach partnerskich, wymianie doświadczeń i doskonaleniu umiejętności komunikowania się w języku angielskim. Każda ze szkół partnerskich przygotowała prezentację PowerPoint o swojej szkole i regionie, utworzyliśmy stronę internetową projektu, zaprojektowaliśmy logo i jingiel reklamowy, przygotowaliśmy audycje radiowe. Dzięki zaangażowaniu i ścisłej współpracy stworzyliśmy profesjonalną sieć radiowęzłową.
Okul Yayın Merkezi
“Okul Yayın Merkezi” projesinin amacı öğrencilerimize teorik bilgilerini uygulama fırsatı vermektir. Mesleki derslerde öğrenciler bir takım elektronik aletleri nasıl birleştireceklerini öğrenirler, fakat nasıl çalıştıracaklarını ya da teorik bilgilerini nerede kullanacaklarını bilmezler. Diğer yanda öğrenciler bilgisayar derslerini işten çok eğlence olarak görüyorlar. Proje sayesinde öğrenciler hem elektronik aletleri hem de bilgisayar bilimini tek bir eylemde nasıl kullanacaklarını düşünebilecekler. İlk etapta “Okul Yayın Merkezi” için hangi elektronik donanıma ihtiyaç duyduklarına karar verecekler, küçük gruplar halinde çalışarak iletim odasında hangi aletlerin toplanılacağına ve hoparlöre nasıl bağlayacaklarını karar verecekler. Kâğıt üzerindeki materyaller bu grubun ürünü olabilir. Bir sonraki grup bilgisayar teknolojisini sağlamakla sorumlu olacak, bilgisayar teknolojisinin okul yayın merkezinde nasıl kullanılacağına karar verecekler. Doğru olan bilgisayar programını yazmak zorunda olacaklar. Üçüncü grup öğrenci iletimi başlatmaktan ve ekipmanın etkinliğinden sorumlu olacaklar.
Centrul Scolar de Radiodifuziune
Scopul proiectului “Centrul şcolar de radiodifuziune” este de a oferi elevilor şansa de a folosi teoria in practică. Se ştie că in lecţiile materiilor optionale (vocationale) elevii invaţă cum să conecteze suportul electronic, dar ei nu ştiu cum să-l facă să funcţioneze sau unde pot să aplice ideile teoretice. Pe de altă parte, elevii folosesc computerele mai mult pentru distracţie şi mai puţin pentru a lucra. Mulţumită proiectului nostru, ei vor fi capabili sa gândească cum să utilizeze echipamentul electronic şi cunoştinţele de calculator intr-o activitate. Mai intâi vor şti care sunt accesoriile electronice utilizate pentru conectarea centrului şcolar de radiodifuziune la reţeaua de cablu, lucrând in grupuri mici vor decide ce echipament trebuie adunat pentru camera de transmisie, cum să conecteze boxele afară. Materialele pe hartie pot deveni produsul grupului. Urmatorul grup va fi responsabil cu suportul electronic, va decide cum se vor folosi cunoştintele pe calculator in centrul şcolar de radiodifuziune , va trebui să scrie aplicaţia pe calculator. Al treilea grup de elevi va fi responasabil pentru inceperea transmisiei şi va avea grijă de eficienţa echipamentului.
Centrul Şcolar de Transmisie prin Cablu
Obiectivul proiectului "Centrul Şcolar de Transmisie prin Cablu" este de a da elevilor ocazia să aplice teoria în practică. Este obişnuit ca în timpul orelor la materiille de specialitate (vocaţionale) elevii să înveţe, de exemplu, cum să conecteze nişte piese electronice, dar ei nu ştiu cum să le facă să funcţioneze sau unde ar putea să utilizeze ideile teoretice. Pe de altă parte, elevii folosesc ştiinţele informatice mai mult pentru distracţie, mai puţin pentru a lucra. Mulţumită proiectului nostru, ei vor putea să se gândească despre cum să folosească împreună, într-o singură activitate, electronica şi informatica. Pentru început ei vor gândi ce piese electronice sunt necesare pentru Centrul Şcolar de Transmisie prin Cablu. Lucrând în grupuri mici ei vor decide ce echipament trebuie achiziţionat pentru sala de transmisiuni şi cum să îl conecteze cu boxele din afara centrului. Materialele de pe hârtie pot deveni produse ale acestui grup. Următorul grup, va fi responsabil de realizarea suportului informatic; elevii vor decide cum poate fi folosită informatica în centrul şcolar de transmisie şi vor trebui să scrie aplicaţia software potrivită. Al treilea grup de elevi va fi responsabil de începerea trasmisiei şi va avea grijă ca echipamentele să lucreze eficient.
Centro Scolastico Trasmissione Radiofonico
Lo scopo principale del progetto "School Wire Broadcasting Centre" è quello di dare ai nostri studenti l'opportunità di mettere in pratica la teoria. E' noto che durante le lezioni di discipline professionali gli studenti imparano per esempio come unire i dispositivi elettronici ma non sanno farli funzionare o non riescono a ad usare le idee teoriche. D'altro canto gli studenti incontrano le scienze informatiche più per divertimento e meno per il lavoro. Grazie al nostro progetto avranno la opportunità per pensare sul come usare le apparecchiature elettroniche e le scienze informatiche in una unica azione. Per prima cosa dovranno capire quali accessori elettronici sono necessari per il centro scolastico di radiodiffusione, lavorando in piccoli gruppi decideranno quale attrezzatura dovrà essere acquisita per l'allestimento della sala trasmissioni, come collegare i dispositivi agli altoparlanti esterni. I materiali cartacei possono diventare il prodotto di questo gruppo. Il gruppo successivo sarà responsabile del supporto informatico, deciderà come l'informatica potrà essere utilizzata nel centro scolastico di radiodiffusione, loro dovranno programmare le adeguate applicazioni per il computer. Il terzo gruppo di studenti sarà responsabile dell'inizio delle trasmissioni e dovranno occuparsi della cura e efficienza delle apparecchiature-

Broadcasting Schedule
The partners established a common program for broadcasting. Each school had to present, in the same day, information about the countries from the partnership. Informations were presented in English, one week per month. SWITCH Logo
During the first international meeting the students participated to a contest to create a logo for the project. The jury choose one design, used as logo for the first year. During the second meeting we decide to change the initial logo, in order to be more visible on black and white printed materials.Logo-ul SWITCH

The students created more jingles for an international contest between the partner schools. The best one was selected to introduce the programs that are broadcast in each School Centre (Radio Station), in each school. It is a signal used at the beginning of each transmission.Jingle-ul SWITCH

The result of our work has been written on a CD ROM , where we collected all the photos and videos of our and some partners activities. As our last aim was to broadcast a radio transmission we recorded there also the sounds and interviews that we planned at the beginning of this project. The Cd also includes the programs the students elaborated with the contribution of all partners schools.SWITCH ROM
I risultati del nostro lavoro sono stati inseriti in un cd rom, dove sono stati inserite le fotografie e i video delle nostre e alcune attività dei nostri partner. Il nostro scopo era quello di trasmettere una trasmissione radio perciò noi abbiamo registrato tutti i suoni e le interviste che si erano programmate all'inizio del progetto.
