The aim of the partnership is to develop a Common Assessment Tool, which can be used for all vocational learners who face disadvantage. The first objective is for the common assessment tool, (devised by specialists) to enable sustained progression of learners who face multiple disadvantage, by ensuring that assessment encompasses all needs. The Common Assessment Tool will enable the partnership to compare progress of clients and identify interventions, which are most successful in progression. The Common Assessment Tool incorporates the specialist skills of organisations in the field of mental health, homelessness, offending, drug use and young people disengaged from education, employment or training. Participating organisations are from Bulgaria, Sweden and UK, enabling diverse cultural, economic and social perspectives to the partnership. Sustainability of work is important to the partnership and as a result the Partnership aspire to submit a Transfer of Innovation bid on completion of this partnership.
