    Employability of elderly employees

The project deals with the issue of the employability of elderly people. As our society gets older and people need to stay at work for a longer periode of time it becomes more and more important for our society that people stay employable. Especially low qualified persons are in danger of loosing their working ability. On the one side elderly people get more expensive for the enterprises and on the other side they loose motivation and physical fitness. That is why the danger of getting unemployed increases with increasing age. Our learning partnership will deal with this problem but will also make a side glance to the gender aspect exploring wether men and women are equally effected by the problem and wether the topic is of the same acuteness in the involved partner countries. Experts from different occupational fields will exchange imformation regarding their experience with those problems. The outcome of this partnership should be a clear notion about the reasons, existing and future measures to prevent elderly employees of dropping out. The findings shall be presented on a Course Management system [moodle], that will also allow storing ideas and methods for couses that can be held through future multilateral project in regional enterprises.
